CinEast festival collaborators
CinEast team is looking for reinforcement!
For our 19th edition (9–25 October 2026) we are looking for several motivated and flexible collaborators (m/f/x) to join our team and help us with various organisational aspects of the upcoming edition of the CinEast Film Festival Luxembourg.
The open positions are:
• Festival Producer
• Production specialist / Volunteer coordinator
• Print Traffic Coordinator
• Press / Communication Assistant
• Hospitality Assistant
• Trainee / Production Assistant
These roles are mainly foreseen during the period July/August – October 2026, in some cases earlier (notably for the festival producer).
Candidates should have good organisational and communication skills, be fluent in English and preferably French (knowledge of Luxembourgish would be an additional asset). Experience with organising (cultural) events is required for the festival producer (at least 3 years) and preferred for the remaining positions. Applicants should ideally be based in or around Luxembourg.
New team members will join a motivated team of professionals and volunteers, work in a dynamic festival environment, and should be able to work flexible hours (partially from home). Full availability during the festival dates is required.

Here are the main responsibilities of each position:
Festival Producer
Coordinating the overall production of the festival, working closely with the festival directors and the other team members on planning and implementation of festival activities, liaising with venues and partners, overseeing main operational aspects of the programme, acting as a team leader and ensuring the smooth running of events during the festival period.
Production specialist / Volunteer coordinator
Supporting the production and coordination of the festival, working closely with the festival producer and other team members. Responsible for volunteers coordination. Overseeing certain operational aspects of the programme and contributing to the smooth running of events during the festival period.
Print Traffic Coordinator
Coordination of the festival film prints and files, collaboration with screening venues and their technical teams, organising film deliveries (imports/downloads), internal traffic and testing of the festival films.
Press / Communication Assistant
Supporting the team with the festival’s PR activities – drafting press releases (in French & English), helping prepare the festival’s press conference, ensuring and facilitating media coverage, monitoring published articles and contribution to the social media communication.
Hospitality Assistant
Supporting the guests coordinator with the festival guests’ logistics (booking flights, hotels and transport), coordinating and assisting the hospitality team, and providing on-site support during the guests’ stay at the festival.
Trainee / Production Assistant
Supporting the festival coordinator and team with the daily running of the festival office, promotional activities (in collaboration with the volunteers coordinator), hospitality support, help with organising events, venue management and various other production tasks.
