Job Offer: Gallery Assistant (CDD – 1 Year)

Working Hours: Full-time, 40 Hours per week

Position Overview:
 We are seeking a motivated and organized Gallery Assistant to join our team on a one-year fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the gallery, assist with exhibitions, and provide excellent service to visitors and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
— Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and artists in a professional and friendly manner
— Support the setup, installation, and de-installation of exhibitions, assist in curation
— Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, phone calls, and emails
— Maintain the gallery space
— Assist with communication, and accounting
— Support sales and liaise with collectors, artists, and Partners
— Assist in events, openings, and other gallery activities

Requirements:
— Previous experience in a gallery, museum, or similar cultural environment is a plus
— Strong organizational and administrative skills
— Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Maintain an open, approachable demeanor.
— Passion for contemporary art and cultural engagement
— Proficiency in French and English, Luxembourgish is a Plus.
— Ability to work independently and as part of a team
— Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events, or art fairs (Opening Hours Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 - 18:00).
