From ECHO.lu

The painting series revealing seemingly cut-out shapes, explores space, composition, and color through dominant white forms set against colored canvases. These shapes suggest cut-out fragments, revealing layers behind and pointing beyond the painting itself toward the wall and exhibition space. The works treat painting as both illusion and object: not a surface carrying meaning, but meaning in itself. Depth emerges through breaks in form, line, and color, while contrasts - light and dark, warm and cool, soft and hard - define the surfaces. Soft, dissolving shapes are intersected by sharp, digital-like lines, introducing a dialogue between painting and contemporary screen-based imagery. These lines structure the compositions and guide the viewer’s perception.
