Archiduc is a new magazine dedicated to architecture published by Maison Moderne Publishing in conjunction with the Fondation de l’Architecture et de l’Ingénierie. Published twice a year, starting in October 2010, Archiduc is primarily aimed at a readership comprised of architects, engineers and project developers, as well as economic and political decision makers. The magazine evokes architecture by presenting projects completed not only in Luxembourg but also across the borders by bureaus established in the Grand Duchy. It will cover news about architecture and also include indepth feature articles, portraits of architects and more creative subjects.
Archiduc’s goal is to highlight architectural developments in the Grand Duchy by presenting quality projects to its readers.
Particular care was taken in producing the magazine. The Publisher identified the need for an audacious layout (conceived by Maison Moderne Design) and has placed special emphasis on quality photography. Opting for different types of paper to define the distinct sections of the magazine allows the publication to reflect the importance of quality and innovation to the profession at which it is aimed.
The final section of the magazine incorporates the “partnership” booklet, which provides news from the Fondation de l’Architecture et de l’Ingénierie.
An internet site will complement the magazine and will include a blog, agenda and portfolios as well as a newsletter.
