VELVET FLARE, a distinguished digital arts and immersive projects studio based in Luxembourg, is actively seeking an experienced XR Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The studio is working on high-end artistic creations for international culture and entertainment markets and is on the mission to establish itself internationally​

Specialised in scenography and hybridisation of immersive technologies, VELVET FLARE aims to become an international reference in the creation of location-based immersive works. The studio includes an in-house design and manufacturing workshop alongside a forward-thinking technological R&D Lab.

 As the dedicated studio of a_BAHN, a multi-awarded production company based in Luxembourg, we had noteworthy collaborations including an internationally touring immersive experience and a narrative VR game, developed in partnership with international studios and exhibitions

 

 

Position Overview

 

Type: Permanent, full-time (40 hours/week) with a 6-month probationary period

Location: Differdange (Luxembourg). This role requires an in-office presence.

Start Date: Immediate

 

 

Main Responsibilities

 

As our XR  Project Manager, you will serve as the main point of contact for both our customers, our partners and your team. You will coordinate internal resources and external resources for the flawless execution of projects.

 

Your primary duties will include:

  • Develop multiple detailed project plan to monitor and track progress which in turn will ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope 
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule using appropriate verification techniques
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Regularly and efficiently on progress of projects / change initiatives to the Head of the Studio
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills through training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Foster a collaborative, fair and efficient work environment

Qualifications

 

- Extensive  experience in XR, animation or video game studios / production companies, with a strong focus on international productions and cross-border collaborations

- Demonstrated ability in managing both on-site and remote teams, showcasing exceptional organisational, detail-oriented, and multitasking skills

- Experience in agile project management methodologies is advantage

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills internally and externally

- Fluent in both English and French, German is a plus
